The pre-order of Windows 7 is now available and lucky for us, Amazon Netbooks has created a page of all the netbook options which will soon be released with the OS.
We don’t know too much yet, but Onkyo, known for their home theaters is preparing for the release of its new netbook option which will include the hyped new Windows 7.
Here are the latest specs that will be on the Onkyo C405:
Will be available in Japan sometime but we have no idea of the price as of yet. Since the specs are on the modest side, this should be a pretty affordable netbook option.
Should be available on October 22 for around $550. The Gateway EC14 has a large hard disk and some pretty decent features that should make it a pretty good netbook option.
Intel Atom has been working on their newest sets of Atom processors that have been rumored to be available soon for netbook options.
The benefits from previous Atom chips are that they will require much less physical space in a netbook than older versions, saving space to create more compact netbooks. This can be good for portability as well as migrationology.
The Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz could be launched on the 3rd of January. It will sell at $64 which is $20 more than older versions.
The Intel Atom N470 1.86GHz will also be released as part of the chipset and probably in March 2010 according to Fudzilla. The N470 1.86GHz will cost $75.
Let’s see in the future how these new and updated versions of Intel Atoms processors will improve our netbook options.

These 2 new netbooks from Asus are slightly larger than usual with 12.1 inch screens, yet the bodies are still small and can sill be considered netbook options.
The Asus 1201N and 1201HA models have not yet been released but the specs have been leaked. Let’s take a look at what we can look forward to:
The Asus Eee PC 1201 HA will most likely be the budget model of the two judging from the specs. Both look like pretty decent machines.
Still not sure when either of these will officially be available as Asus has not actually officially released either. The specs were leaked on Eee PC Italia.
