Two days until 22 of October 2009 or until the release of Windows 7 which will be available on most netbook options.
So far, netbooks have been for the most part running on Windows XP OS. However, Windows 7 OS will cater more towards the netbook option boom by a few clutch options:

- Faster with a more responsive performance, from start up to shutdown and standby, should be much faster.
- Desktop enhancements- easy to compare two open screens using the new Snap method.
- Homegroup- easy to share files in you home PC network.
- Windows Search- uses libraries to show information making it easier to for search results.
- Steaming Media- easier to stream all kinds of media.
- Taskbar and full screen- rearranging icons and programs on the taskbar is easy as ever.
- Jump Lists- easy to reach the files that have just been worked with.
- Device management- device management will be easier to manage with all sorts of printer, and any other devices.
